The EX-AI-Summit is a research-led gathering on artificial intelligence and its neighbour disciplines: finance, climate, health, government and the creative industries. It is built as a continuous relay that moves between two islands, Las Palmas in the Canary Islands and Bali, eight hours apart, so that researchers, founders, investors and policymakers can join from any timezone and pick the conversation up mid-flow. The program is organised into eight research tracks plus two cross-cutting streams: the R&D Funding pathway that maps capital across continents and matches universities with private partners, and the after-hours floor where the real conversations happen.

The summit is for the people who turn research into outcomes: university research teams looking for capital and partners, accelerators and incubators bringing their startups to market, investors seeking deeptech and climate deals, government agencies shaping innovation policy, and the EX community of founders, staff, interns and portfolio companies who keep the conversation going between editions. Online attendance is free for verified researchers, students and the EX community, while in-person rooms in Las Palmas and Bali bring the room together for the part nobody puts on the agenda.

The summit is presented and produced by EX Venture Inc., together with Seraph SL and Equation Labs SL, in partnership with research centres, innovation funds and host venues across the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean. Together they host the broadcast, curate the program and run the matchmaking sessions that make the summit more than a stage, a working room where research, capital and policy meet.
